Listening for God’s Voice is a prophetic art journal that gently invites you to recognize God’s presence, respond to what He is saying, and discover what can unfold when you give yourself permission to create with Him.
No artistic ability required. No pressure to make something beautiful—just a willingness to encounter God, hear what He may be saying to you personally, and respond through journaling, creative expression, or both.
Perhaps you are fascinated by the prophetic. You love the idea of hearing from God in a personal way. You may even be drawn to journaling, color, images, or creative expression—but the moment someone mentions art, something in you pulls back.
No. This journal is not about artistic skill or making beautiful artwork. It is about learning creativity is the love language between you and God. It’s never about perfection—it’s learning to communicate with Him through creative expression.
Begin in whatever way makes you feel comfortable. You’re not expected to manufacture an experience or force an answer. This journal is designed to help you learn to become present, confident, and responsive as you personally encounter God.
No. It is for women who want to become more attentive to God’s voice and presence—including those who feel uncertain, distracted, or afraid of getting it wrong.
It is a guided prophetic art journal meant to be engaged, not merely read. Its purpose is to give you a place to practice encountering the Holy Spirit by listening, creating, and becoming.
Special supplies are not needed to get started. Use what you love and already have on hand to remove the pressure to perform. Use what you enjoy using the most.
In these pages, creative expression is not a performance. It is a way of slowing down long enough to become present—to Scripture, to what is stirring within you, and most importantly, to God Himself.
None of it is to impress anyone. It only needs to be honest.
You are not seeking anything other than simply showing up to be with Jesus.
Are you feeling overwhelmed? Learn to bring the noise, the pressure, and the scattered pieces of your life into His presence—and let Him carry what you were never meant to carry alone.
Do you need guidance? Learn that you don’t have to figure it out alone. Slow down, get quiet, and learn how to let God meet you—He can show you a way forward.
God sees what no one else sees. Let Him into those moments you’ve felt invisible, and let Him remind you that you were never overlooked by Him.
Learn to notice what’s right in front of you—a small mercy, an answered prayer, a gift you overlooked. That’s Him.
Learn that creativity isn’t required to encounter God—it’s simply a language you can use to respond to Him.
This is not a test of your creativity. It is an invitation to turn aside, pay attention, and respond.
It is never about the artwork. It’s about the language—it’s what teaches you about who you are and who He is.
What is God saying through the color you keep noticing everywhere?
What if the image in your mind is worth paying attention to?
What if the artwork you created reveals something hidden that gives you new understanding when it is viewed.
You do not have to force an answer or manufacture a message. Your part is to become present, stay curious, and respond. God is responsible for the encounter.
